A Japanese maple, displaying brilliant fall colors, invites the sun through its leaves early one autumn morning at the Japanese Gardens in Portland, Oregon. Portland's Japanese Garden is considered one of the most authentic outside of Japan. It was opened in 1963 and contains five distinct gardens, with a total of two to three thousand plants. The five gardens are: The Flat Garden, The Sand and Stone Garden, the Strolling Pond Garden, The Tea Garden, and the Natural Garden.

V. Marvelous fall color! I like the way your arranged for the sunlight to break out of the leaves in the trees, Thanks for the compliment on my work. Yours seem to be an enjoyment too.
