Mist rises from Hahn's Peak Lake near Steamboat Springs, Colorado as morning breaks in the high country.

Hahns Peak Lake is a small, quiet lake, especially compared to nearby Steamboat Lake. It’s tucked away in the northern part of Routt County, close to the Wyoming border. Fishing, camping and hiking are the main attractions.
The 160-acre lake sits at 8,5000 feet surrounded by wilderness. The 10,774-foot Hahns Peak adds to the scenery.
