About Don Schwartz
~MOMENTS IN TIME THAT BECOME TIMELESS MOMENTS~ Photography is for me a dance with nature. It is the immersion in a landscape; the sharing of a habitat with nature's creatures - the sense of being lost in the moment, where the passing of time goes unnoticed. The serendipity of capturing a moment in time that becomes a timeless moment inspires me. The quiet places, the places of simple beauty, draw me in... from the delicate splendor of dew dancing on an iris petal to the magnificent breadth of a gray whale slicing through the water. With my camera, I am a blessed witness in a field of splendor. COPYRIGHT NOTICE All photographs on this web site are fully protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. All rights reserved. How lovely! The monochromatic tones allow me to see all the tiny details, like the stones lining the sides of the path, and that wonderful gate, left ajar to welcome visitors. It invites me to wonder...what is on the other side? Such a great point of view, that path leading to the gate.
Don Schwartz replied:
Thank you once again for your poetic comments, Karen. I appreciate your support. If ever I'm in Annapolis Valley, NS, the first drink is on me.
